Fuel Tank Problems

Well, I started fixing up the fuel tank. The guy that owned it before me didn't feel like getting the rust out of the tank, so he coated it in a chemical called POR 15. Very strong stuff! I did a bit of research and the only thing thats known to remove POR 15 after its set up is Aircraft Paint Remover.

Kind of expensive, but I need to get that junk out to fix the rust problem. Initially I started silver soldering, but found that when I heated the tank up, the metal separated from the POR 15 coating inside. I stopped and now its soaking in the Aircraft Remover. Heres a shot of the fuel tank right now:

All of those little holes up top need to be soldered. They were just painted over. When I got it, the paint was bubbling up. So after I get the POR 15 cleaned out and eliminate the rust inside the tank, I need to go over every little hole with a dremel, grind it down to bare metal, and silver solder each crater. Then take some sand paper and sand it even. After that, all to do is prime and paint, then replace the stickers. No problem...
